    • 1:1 into Gr 2 (increased number of CBs needed each year for rotation)

    • Software, hardware, virtual connectivity needs for Microsoft TEALS

    • Hotspots, broadband cards, and MiFi units (internet source for digital and virtual learners)

Staffing

  • Revised Base Salary (Tier A) and Hourly Wage Scale

    • Adjust to area average starting pay 

    • Remain competitive

    • Means of increase for coaches, advisors

  • Add an IT Assistant ($78,000 annually, including benefits)

  • Increase Reading Teacher position to fulltime (add 0.5FTE) 

  • Fulltime substitute teacher position ($55,000 annually, including benefits)

  • Additional fulltime teaching position ($55,000 annually, including benefits)

  • Additional paraprofessional position ($47,000 annually, including benefits)

  • Increases in part-time teaching positions ($15,000 annually)

 

In the past two years, we have also grown staffing to meet changing needs and interest:

  • Increased School Nurse position (from 0.5 to 1.0FTE)

  • Additional fulltime English Language (EL) teacher

  • Additional 4K teacher (0.6FTE)

  • Increased Tech Ed teaching position (from 0.5 to 1.0FTE)

  • Increased middle school math teaching position (from 0.5 to 0.625)

  • Increased Occupational Therapist contracted time

  • Increased Physical Therapist contracted time

  • Additional Speech and Language Therapist (0.2 – 0.5FTE)

  • Added a Bookkeeper position (0.2 -0.5 FTE)

  • Added a Pupil Support Staff position (0.5FTE)

  • Added a Media Advisor (staff member) to oversee Chiefs TV
